About the Speaker
Prof. Ghose's research seeks to measure and quantify three related issues: (i) the welfare impact of the Internet and mobile technologies on industries and markets transformed by its shared infrastructure, (ii) the trade-offs between data privacy and the economic benefits to consumers, and (iii) the business impact of digital advertising and mobile marketing. He has consulted in various capacities for Alibaba, Apple, Berkeley Corporation, CBS, DFS Group, Facebook, HR Ratings Mexico, Marico India, Microsoft, NBC, Netcore, Samsung, Snapchat, TD Bank, Tinder, Verizon, Yahoo, 1-800-Contacts, and 3TI World, and collaborated closely with Adobe, Alibaba, China Mobile, Google, IBM, Iqiyi, Indiegogo, Microsoft, Recobell, Telefonica, Travelocity, and Via amongst other leading firms, in the US, Europe and Asia. He also serves as an Advisor to start-ups in the US, UK, India, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, and China including Lucidity, Adrealm, Netcore, Leverage Edu, Tamoco, iBus Networks, ZeroWeb, and EywaMedia amongst others.
